Memories:)

Sunday was my Granddaddy's 75th birthday. He and my Mimi live up in Phoenix so we loaded up and headed up there. The whole way there Delaney was saying, "I see Mimi, I see Peepa. I say happy birthday party to him." She was excited. I was excited, that she was excited. I am so happy that my kids are able to spend time with their GREAT-GRANDPARENTS. They have 4!  So making sure that they get to know them is important. Unfortunately, my Nanny lives in Denver and we aren't able to see her as much as I'd like, but we are going to try!

I want Delaney and Brody to have memories of them....I have so many from my grandparents.

So anyway, we headed up to Phoenix and spent the day with our whole family (except for my dad who was flying....he couldn't get it off:( We missed you!). I made a cake and it made it the 3 hours it takes us to get up there....you know.....McDonald's is a must with two toddlers.

The cake...it made it with just a couple uh-ohs!

Delaney and Brody were excited to just run around. Brody stood in the middle of the floor and jammed to the country songs on the TV and then would periodically go outside to have a snack that consisted of rocks.

Always on the move

My brother Josh and his girlfriend, Rachel, came down from Flag and brought with them, their new addition and one for my sister too. Needless to say, Delaney was in hog heaven, I mean dog heaven, from that point on.

"What is it?" I love this picture.
We had a blast....just talking and laughing at the kids and my Uncle Bob:) I know that I will have these pictures for the rest of my life:)

We love you Mimi and Granddaddy!

  2. Wow!! We love the post. Thank you sooo much to you and the whole family for coming up on Sunday. We love having the great-grandbabies around us. They are the so much fun to just watch and play with. Love the picture of you, Jim and me in Conn. We tried our best to spoil you!!! If we were closer to Dalaney and Brody, I think we could really spoil them.
