The Perfect Weekend

So this weekend turned out to be so great!! On Friday Eric and I planned out our weekend which seemed very full. But we decided to forge ahead. Daylen and Kaylie were not with us this weekend so it was actually just the three of us. Our whole weekend started with a high school football game. Why? Well, Eric's friend Jeff coaches for Sahuaro (I know, I know, I went to a Sahuaro game) and we went because they were playing Cienega. I was hesitant about going, but we ended up having a great time. Delaney met the Sahuaro Cougars and then she got to met the Bobcat of Cienega. During the game, of course, Delaney will not sit still so Eric starts playing a hat game with her that occupies her for quite awhile. I love watching the two of them. We ended up leaving at half time, but for a good reason! After the game we decided to go have some Dairy Queen. Well, I decided more out of necessity than anything else. This poor baby is going to pee chocolate milkshakes. SO, the three of sat at a table outside and I had my milkshake, Eric had his ice cream that he sweetly shared with Delaney. It was a great night.


Meeting the Bobcat

Saturday was just as great. Eric let me sleep in and then we all put on our Mikkelson shirts and went to Daylen's game. After the disappointing tie, my mom and dad took us to Target where they bought Delaney the most beautiful and comfy big girl car seat! She is sitting forward now!!!!We got home from the game and decided that the garage needed some help. Of course it is mostly because of my school stuff but still... so we spent the afternoon cleaning it!! It was great! To finish off the evening we watched Baby Mama, which Eric had never seen. It was so fun to just be with him!!!

Sunday was my favorite day though. We all got up, got ready and we put Delaney in her brand new, forward facing car seat. She was so funny, for the first 5 minutes, she held on so tight and her eyes were huge. I guess it would be very weird to suddenly see everything coming at you! So we were loaded in the van and we were heading to Willcox to go to Apple Annie's Pumpkin Patch. IT was so fun! We took a hayride to pick out our pumpkins and some photo ops. Turns out, Delaney is a bit of a chicken. She would not sit on anything with out crying, but that's ok. We also had some shaved ice and had such a fun family day.
