So strange. I feel so guilty that I didn't do a post last night. I know it takes 21 days to from a new habit and I posted for over 30! I had a good reason though. This is why.
This little man is miserable. He has an ear infection, eczema, he is teething and has a super stuffy nose. He CAN NOT sleep at all! It is so exhausting. Plus, he decided that crawling isn't enough of an adventure for him. I walked into his room the other day and saw this:
Eric had to drop his crib mattress! I must admit, I got misty watching it go down. No more little baby (I know, I know he is not exactly little, but you know what I mean). I am sad, he is growing up so fast. He seriously is crawling all over creation and is pulling himself up onto the furniture. I am in big trouble. Delaney thinks it funny though, she bends over and claps her hands together and says, "come on buddy, come" and then makes kissy sounds like she is calling a dog. She is not so enthused when he tries to play with her dollhouse. He makes a beeline for it the second I put him down. Eric is having an issue with that. He says that we need to buy him a castle or G.I. Joe's house so he can play with that instead of the pretty, pink house. Anyway, life just got a little bit crazier. I am super hoping that his meds start working soon and his teeth pop through so we can all get some sleep.
Just tell Eric that he's just trying to get at his sister, not that he likes the house for it's color. And he sure is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteMy son and daughter both have ezcema. My daughter just gets it in spurts but my son always has it on his upper thighs. What I found to work was a warm bath soaking in the Aveeno Lavendar bath. When they get out I cover them in the Aveeno baby ezcema cream...kinda expensive but worth it for major break outs. Once their asleep I sneak in and put neosporan on any visible ezcema break outs. They're usually cleared up in about 2 days. And their mood is much better after a few hours. For the teeth we used the teething drops from target. Their organic and on the baby isle. You just put a drop under their tongue and their fine. I hope he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteI remember those days! My daughter had ear infections one after another. Good luck!
