This past Sunday, I woke up around 7:30 (which is late for me) and quickly sat up to yell at Eric that we needed to leave in an hour for church. The kids were not awake yet and it was so quiet in the house. I looked at our sliding glass door and through the shades I said to Eric, "It's so bright outside, it looks like it snowed." Of course we both thought my comment was ridiculous so I got out of bed and turned on the shower and then I actually looked out the door and holy crap- there was about 2 inches of snow on our deck!! The kids wandered into our room and I showed them. They were so excited. We decided to forgo church and let the kids play in the snow....

This is Eric trying to get Brody in the house after teaching him how to throw snow balls. He was pissed!
It was so fun!! It was such a beautiful day!
It's hard to believe you're only twenty minutes away when I see all that snow in your yard - and we didn't have a white patch anywhere! I love how happy they both look -- even Opie and Sandy!
