You Know You're A Mom WHENS-Daze: Granddaddy style
Ok so mine's a little different.... if you want to see what this blog party is all about...head on over to Arizona Momma's blog! You will love it.

Today mine is YOU KNOW YOU ARE A GRANDPA WHEN:
Today mine is YOU KNOW YOU ARE A GRANDPA WHEN:
you just stand there in your jeans, with your Harley boots on and let your grandson soak you with the hose, cuz he wanted to. That's my daddy and that's the kid's Granddaddy. (Oh and I am pretty sure, I would have gotten in trouble for that when I was little:)

Memories:)
Sunday was my Granddaddy's 75th birthday. He and my Mimi live up in Phoenix so we loaded up and headed up there. The whole way there Delaney was saying, "I see Mimi, I see Peepa. I say happy birthday party to him." She was excited. I was excited, that she was excited. I am so happy that my kids are able to spend time with their GREAT-GRANDPARENTS. They have 4! So making sure that they get to know them is important. Unfortunately, my Nanny lives in Denver and we aren't able to see her as much as I'd like, but we are going to try!
I want Delaney and Brody to have memories of them....I have so many from my grandparents.
So anyway, we headed up to Phoenix and spent the day with our whole family (except for my dad who was flying....he couldn't get it off:( We missed you!). I made a cake and it made it the 3 hours it takes us to get up there....you know.....McDonald's is a must with two toddlers.
Delaney and Brody were excited to just run around. Brody stood in the middle of the floor and jammed to the country songs on the TV and then would periodically go outside to have a snack that consisted of rocks.
My brother Josh and his girlfriend, Rachel, came down from Flag and brought with them, their new addition and one for my sister too. Needless to say, Delaney was in hog heaven, I mean dog heaven, from that point on.
We love you Mimi and Granddaddy!

The cake...it made it with just a couple uh-ohs!
